This hunt showdown game was a match with randoms, using Hunt’s built-in random-partner
matchmaking. The cheater is only rank 8.
As you’ll see in the video, he claims he had multiple
other accounts, usually taking at least 3 months to get banned.
I have no reason to believe our third partner is cheating
Before I hit the record button, the Cheater (name blurred to remove witch hunting) said “I have aimhacks,
I can see people to the right 200 meters away”
I decided to record this match to try to gain as much information about cheaters as possible, so that I
could expose them to the community.
I did not gain any XP/Money from this match, as I Alt-F4ed at the end.
An un-blurred version of this match has been reported to crytek.
If he gets banned, I don't think this will do anything though. He claims it usually takes 3 months to ban him, and that he is able to get steam keys for free in under 10 minutes.
If his claims are true, this draws the security of all games on steam into question. Additionally, if his claims of having multiple accounts is true, that means there was no IP ban (or he uses VPNs)
He also claims his cheat is home-made, and his cheat also lets him know who else is cheating. I have no idea if I should trust his last claim, because he tried to accuse members of the BD clan
(without being able to give any names) and gunsmakk of cheating. I suspect he was just trying
to get highly-skilled players banned. (and, reporting in-game IS NOT ENOUGH to ban players in this game.
You need to also record video and send it to crytek. Noobs are less likely to know this)

I'm posting this because myself and many others think that crytek's priorities (publicly, anyway) seem to be in the wrong place. Matchmaking, server stability, and anti-cheat measures should be far more important than seemingly endless tweaks and gameplay changes. As far as I can tell, the real issues have seen no real improvement for years. (where the heck is region lock? Or ping limit? Or reconnect Why are there so many Desyncs? Why are there so many cheaters? Why do we have to record the game in order to get an effective report in? Why doesn't crytek have internal tools which let them record the game themselves?) Hopefully this video will help shed some light on at least a small facet of this.

Also, please don't witch hunt the BD clan. While the cheater did claim 'they all cheat,' and that he's friends with all of them, he could be lying. He didn't know any specific names (said 'what?' when I mentioned one), and the only name he knew (A) is not in BD (B) Belongs to a hunt streamer (so it's an easy target).
